With the necessary introduction of new Building Regulations fire resistant glass is now a very important aspect of construction.Fire-resistant glass offers various levels of protection, which is measured in terms of Integrity (the time the glass remains intact in a fire) and Insulation (the amount the glass will limit the temperature rise on the non-fire side).

Safety Glass

At Kingdom Glass we supply a number of different types of safety glass. Toughened glass is used in most applications such as stairs, balustrades, showers, splashbacks, door panels, table tops and shelving. Laminate safety glass is available in a variety of thicknesses and is used in door panels and shopfronts – it is also available in Acoustic (to boost noise reduction)

Finally we supply a product called toughened laminate for large stairs and balustrade projects this allows for completely frameless installations without compromising on safety.

Convex Mirrors

Kingdom Glass supply convex road traffic mirrors in a number of different sizes. Pulling out of a blind drive-way can be dangerous – convex mirrors help improve safety and reduce accidents. The mirrors are plastic and are much more durable than glass, they are fully adjustable with 160 Degree Wide Angle Viewing. Also suitable as security mirrors in shops, warehouses and factories.
